Company Summary

Sooligan creates exciting and smart cities by utilizing a proprietary artificial intelligence technology to bring students together in a digital dialogue about their campus life and community. If the action invokes an emotion or thought, we want students to post a review about it. Sooligan categorizes each review as either a RANT, RAVE, or question that may need an answer.

    Natasia was on the fast track to become a lawyer, graduating from UC Berkeley with a Legal Studies degree at age 20. After graduation, Natasia worked as an Intellectual Property Paralegal, which is when she learned the art of patent writing and drafted the patent application for Sooligan. Natasia went on to work as a Patent Specialist at Sughrue Mion, prosecuting the patents of large tech corporations like Samsung and IBM.

    Nikka graduated from UC Berkeley in 2012 with a major in Politics and Economics. She was an active member of the University, being the founder and chairwoman of the first University-wide philanthropic organization responsible for raising $300million in scholarships and aid. She recently traveled to South America to study and conduct research on the Brazilian culture and economy. Nikka is instrumental in adding the revenue-generator to Sooligan.

    At 13, Stephanus knew he wanted to work with computers. After discovering his father had put a lock on his new computer, Stephanus wrote a simple program to extract the password the next time his father logged in. By the time he was 14, he had built his first computer. He went on to receive his degree in Information Technology-Networking Securities and is currently a Technical Analyst for housing giant Lennar Corporation.

    Basit taught himself how to develop at 14, mostly to enhance his own use of his first computer. He began developing spyware to hack into Yahoo & was notorious for sending hacked accounts personalized greetings. He shifted to web development when a hotel chain posted an ad about creating an online reservations database. Basit holds a degree in Computer Science from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, where he graduated summa cum laude.

    After becoming bored playing Super Mario one day, he successfully altered bricks in the game and realized he liked C++ more than playing the game. Lucian was one of the early developers of bluetooth technology in automobiles. He holds a Master degree in Computer Science, writing his thesis on “Bluetooth Vulnerabilities and Exploits,” based on his work at Continental Automotive.
