  • Sara Beaini

    Sara has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, where she focused on heat transfer, fluids and energy resources. Her research interests are in developing energy-efficient technologies and alternative, renewable energy sources, especially related to solar thermal applications. Sara completed her BS in General Engineering at Harvey Mudd College, CA in May 2006 and her MS in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley in May 2008.

  • Alissa Johnson

    Alissa is an engineer at Lawrence Berkeley Lab. Alissa holds a BS in Material Science and Engineering (MSE) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MS in MSE from the University of California at Berkeley.

    Adam Langton is an energy analyst with the California Public Utilities Commission. He is the staff lead on the Commission’s electric vehicle regulatory proceeding and advises the Governor's Office on policy issues related to climate change and electric vehicle adoption. Prior to joining CPUC, Adam studied energy and environmental policy at UC-Berkeley. While studying at Berkeley, Adam served as a research fellow with the Chinese Academy of Scienc
