Company Summary

SolSolution makes it extremely easy and cost effective for K-12 schools to adopt solar power. We then reinvest the would-be profits into low-income schools through our Solar Powered Schools Granting Program and provide all partner schools with targeted, hands-on Educational Programming focused on solar energy, STEM education, and clean-tech entrepreneurship.

As a Visiting Scientist at MIT and the CEO of Fusion Research Technologies, Soren has lead teams of scientists, engineers, and technicians to perform a major upgrade to the MIT nuclear fusion facility and successfully carry out Department of Energy Small Business Research.

Her academic research covered various aspects of China’s energy policy and framework, including Chinese renewable energy development, linkages to the electrical grid, and the impact of energy legislature. She also assisted research on mapping oil pipelines in the U.S. and analyzing environmental choices against socioeconomic variables.
