SolarPrint’s Dye Sensitised Solar Cell (DSSC) devices produce more power in indoor light conditions than any other technology. SolarPrint is focussed on Indoor Wireless Sensors as their first market, where the combination of SolarPrint’s power advantage and device design capabilities present a clear value proposition. Product samples have been sold to over 30 commercial partners, product launch is scheduled for 2013.

Mazhar Ali BariDr
Dr. Bari has 19 years’ experience in nanomaterials, thin film device fabrication and device physics. As CTO founder, he is leading SolarPrint’s transition from R&D to market driven Product Development. Prior to founding SolarPrint, he was programme manager of a €6M SFI funded research project on Nanoscale Spin Electronics (2001-2006). Dr. Bari holds a PhD & MPhil in Physics from Cambridge University and an MBA from Smurfit Business School Dublin

Rory TimlinMr
As General Manager, Rory Timlin is responsible for SolarPrint’s Product Development Roadmap delivery. Prior to SolarPrint, he spent 12 years in Management and Technology consultancy with Accenture specialising in technical project management, programme delivery and business development. Rory holds a BComm in Commerce and French from University College Dublin.

David JengDr
Dr. Jeng leads the SolarPrint R&D group. Dr. Jeng has over 30 years experience in the solar industry and device engineering. Dr. Jeng joined SolarPrint from G24I where he was responsible for DSSC material science and cell diagnostics. Prior to G24I, Dr. Jeng was Technical Scientist in AT&T Bell Laboratories and subsequently was a founder and CEO of Optical Valley and Nano-Architect Research. Dr. Jeng holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.

Roy HorganMr
As Business Development Director, Roy Horgan is responsible for the commercial development of SolarPrint. Prior to SolarPrint he worked in private banking where he either led or has been involved in over €2bn of transactions in Ireland, Europe and North America. He holds a B.Sc. in Finance and a Diploma in Stockbroking.

Donal MurphyMr
As Finance Director, Donal Murphy is responsible for the financial, HR, legal and facility management functions within the organisation. He is a chartered accountant and spent a number years in private practice specialising in audit and advisory services for SMEs. Donal also holds a B.Sc in Business Management.
