Solaris Offgrid (formerly Eternum Energy) is a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of smart solar energy systems. We provide low-income communities with a product that meets the long-term needs through modularity and is made affordable through pay as you go. We power village homes and businesses with technology and appliances to allow people to improve their lives and livelihoods. Outside of Tanzania, we work with regional partners to scale.

  • Chief Executive Officer

    Siten has over 7 years' experience in energy access and has developed several pioneering, award-winning, inclusive business models. Having a Kenyan family background he understands the challenges first hand. After working for global engineering consultancies Arup and Cowi on smart city and large renewable energy projects he attended the Imperial Business School’s MBA IE&D course to initiate Solaris.

  • Chief Technical Officer

    Benjamin has over 10 years’ experience in robotics and developing energy metering hardware. He is a full-stack software developer and has extensive experience in power electronics and firmware. He graduated with a dual MSc. in Engineering from Sciences Po, Paris. Benjamin is Solaris Offgrid’s CTO, in charge of product development, electronic and software engineering.

  • Chief Marketing Officer

    Thibault worked for 4 years in the energy consulting industry after graduating with a BSc in International Business and an MS in Sustainability & Strategy (NEOMA & SKEMA Business Schools). At Solaris Offgrid he has the role of COO/CMO, in charge of marketing and business development of partner opportunities. After growing the Tanzanian operation team from 1 to 20 staff members he maintains operational oversight in its development.
