Company Summary

Socoride allows commuters who take frequent, inter-city trips to quickly arrange a ride in real-time and pay what they feel is fair. Currently alternatives to traveling between cities for work are costly, time-consuming and/or unsafe. We create a ridesharing community where drivers and passengers can take single rides or form groups. Socoride increases safety, reduces time and cost of commuting, and provides professional networking opportunities.

    CEO/Founder

    I graduated from UC Berkeley with degrees in Business Administration and Economics. I was an investment banking analyst in the Tech, Media and Telecomm group of Goldman Sachs before going into digital media, where I deal with various media channels and do analysis using SAS and SQL.

    I built the prototype for the company. In addition to focusing on front-end development and design, I serve as CEO and lead the direction of the company.

    Tech Guru/Co-founder

    I have nearly 10 years of programming experience. I've worked with HTML,CSS,PHP, JSPs, iOS, mySQL, PL/SQL, NoSQL. I love PHP and have worked with various frameworks including codeIgniter, Cake and Zend.

    I have worked with startups in the past and am excited to hack.

    I received my degree in Information Systems at the University of San Francisco, with an emphasis in Decision Science.
