SMSD-Organizational Microfinance

This model improves the economic base of an organization by focusing USD on low-risk deposit as collateral for microloans to stakeholders.

Company Summary

The Organizational Micro Finance model will improve the economic condition of stakeholders involved with the pilot organization, a school in Tanzania. Donors will deposit, in a Tanzanian bank, funds which can be used for collateral. The stakeholders can borrow against these funds for micro enterprise or any alternative deemed an acceptable risk. This program builds upon structures and relationships already in existence within the pilot school.
