M-C is a biz devt and sales specialist. She was the GM of Wellington's 'Angel HQ' and her ‘girl geek’ status was confirmed by becoming chair of Unlimited Potential NZ’s leading tech network in 2006. Prior to SmartShow, M-C was involved with Virtual Expos NZ, providing events tech, had a sales consultancy, started and sold a café, managed sales for an enterprise software company achieving + than $800k sales/yr, and founded a tech start-up at Uni.

With nearly 30 years of experience at senior level In New Zealand, UK and Europe across a range of disciplines including international media (Centaur Communications), venture capital (Apax Partners and Grouse Investment Management plc), ICT (sector manager for Positively Wellington Business) and communications she is a skilled strategist who understands the pressures of the current business environment.

James is a software developer and product guy who specialises in building world-class apps for the web and mobile devices. A self-confessed start-up junky, he thrives on taking ideas at young companies and growing cutting edge, user friendly technology products. James has played key roles in NZ tech startups where he implemented software solutions and consulted on software engineering, project management best practice and platform integration
