John holds a PhD in Bioengineering (Trinity College Dublin) and has raised over €5 million in equity financing and over €2.5 million in Biomedical Science Research Funding since 2008. John is an inventor of the technologies & has experience in Start-Ups, MedTech Regulatory Approvals, Intellectual Property & Medical Device Validation and Manufacturing.

Co-founder of Smart Hygiene. Daragh is an Engineering graduate (electronics and electronic control systems) from Trinity College Dublin. Daragh has experience as Business Development Manager with a US company (>$500 million annual turnover, electronic display solutions) and was responsible for Strategic Sales in Europe of €6 million per annum. Daragh has a track record of managing large International projects & execution teams.

Johannes is a graduate of Masters in Medical Device Design in the National College of Art and Design (NCAD). Johannes has worked with large Medtech Multinationals (> $10 billion annual turnover) as a Human Factors/Usability Engineer. Johannes previously worked on new product development projects for Siemens, Miele, and Boston Scientific, and won the Dyson Award Germany (2010) for his design work on hand hygiene solutions in public places.
