SMA Hub is the premier financial advisor’s wholesale resource for high yield fixed income Secondary Market Annuities. We purchase discounted receivables from diverse sources of origination into our Hub Business Trust, allocated to each specific lender’s SubTrust. Using an Irrevocable Assignment from our Trust, we sell these receivables through our network of advisors, their investors and institutions.

  • Jonathan Walker
    President & Co-Founder

    Jonathan Walker one of the most seasoned and experienced participants in the arcane corner of financial products we know as Secondary Market Annuities. Johnnie brings extensive knowledge of more traditional products and markets courtesy of over 10 years working as a Senior Investment Manager and Financial Advisor at Phillips & Company Securities, Inc. He has an in‐depth understanding of Fixed, Indexed, Variable, and Immediate Annuities.

  • Vice President

    Tyson has extensive knowledge of the Secondary Market Annuity asset class. He specializes in working with agents, agencies and large institutional investors with alternative investments. He also holds his insurance license with the state of Oregon.

  • Ted Broberg
    General Counsel

    Ted has considerable experience in the structured settlement marketplace, as well as general corporate and finance experience. Before joining SMA Hub, Ted was General Counsel for Somerset Wealth Strategies. Ted also worked as an attorney with the Stoel Rives law firm.

    Ted received his law degree, with honors, from Washington University in St. Louis, and his B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

  • Associate Counsel

    Debbie has extensive case management experience and a sharp eye for organizational needs analysis, building consensus among groups with divergent priorities and implementing policies and programs to meet strategic goals for her clients.

    Debbie received her law degree from Seattle University School of Law, cum laude, and B.A in Political Science from Washington State University.

  • Office Manager

    Jannae has been in the financial industry since 2008 as a lead bank teller for Chase and Wells Fargo. Jannae prides herself on her great client communication and customer service skills. She enjoys working in an environment where she feels a part of not only a team, but a family.

    Jessica is our Case Specialist, handling the purchase process for our SMA product and client/agent relationships.
