SkySaver has developed a backpack designed to operate like a fire escape.
The backpack contains a mechanical drum with a 1,100 Ft. long cable made of heat resistant material. In case of evacuation, you put the backpack on your back, tighten the straps, attach the hook to the nearest possible location and climb out of the window. The system will lower you at a safe and steady rate. The backpack and cable are able to bear a weight of up to 550lb
