Mike joined Skully in 2013. Prior to Skully, he was a senior software engineer at Texas Instruments. He is an expert embedded software developer for mobile Linux devices and has shipped several million devices running his code.
Mike earned his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas and has an avidity for driving emerging technologies and standards.

Andrew SchirmerVP, Design
Andrew joined Skully in 2013 and leads industrial design and mechanical engineering. He has expertise in high precision electro-mechanical integration. Prior to Skully, Andrew was a mechanical engineer at Boston Scientific and a design engineer at Plexus.
Andrew earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and was heavily involved with the Formula-SAE racing team.

Mitchell WellerDirector, Business Management
Mitchell joined Skully in 2013. He has held Director positions in Human Resources, Operations, and Materials Logistics and served in the US Army.
Mitchell holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and has a deep affinity for two-wheeled locomotion.

Dipak PatelAdjunct Scientist
Dipak joined Skully in 2013. He was central to the development of advanced Heads-Up Display for military aircraft in the defense sector before his transition to Philips and later Nokia. There he drove product development for several high volume consumer product initiatives.
Dipak holds a B.S. in Applied Physics from the University of the Southbank, England and his M.S. in Engineering Physics from John Carroll University.

Marcus founded Skully Helmets in February of 2013. Prior to Skully, Marcus was a management consultant and Industrial Psychologist in the Automotive and Semiconductor industries. He also assisted research on Intelligent Transportation Systems at the University of Minnesota.
Marcus holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology. He is a motorcycle enthusiast with an obsession for human-centered technology and design.

20 years of operations and finance experience. Most recently was co-founder and COO of Topsy Labs, which developed the world’s largest search index of Twitter, acquired by Apple in 2013.
Prior to Topsy: President of Cloudmark where he worked to successfully commercialize the world’s largest collaborative messaging security platform. CFO of numerous companies including Liquid Audio (IPO 1999), and Berkeley Systems (acquired by Cendant).
