Nearly 30 years of experience across a breadth of IT disciplines including concentrations in Architecture, Large-scale System design, Project Delivery, Quality Assurance and Governance compliance. He was recognized as a subject matter expert at Verizon Enterprise Systems and predecessor companies. Gene has extensive expertise delivering highly-available data-intensive platforms supporting up to multi-billion dollar revenue streams.

Mr. Shank has served as the Managing Director of Finance for the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA) where he was responsible for the management of $200 million in annual revenues and generated $120 million in investment earnings for the Association’s Reserve Fund. He oversaw the completion and closing of $30 million of long-term financing and managed the PGA’s interest rate risks and managed departments.
