Charlotte Kearns-Lawrie has grown up beside the ocean – both East and West coasts and is an avid surfer and has close ties with the female surf community. Charlotte has been teaching for 13 years and due to living and teaching in Muriwai, has developed a great understanding of the grommets (surfing youth).
Charlotte is an advocate of skin cancer prevention suffering personal tragedy due to melanoma.
