Company Summary

Sintact film acts as a tissue repair material (pericardium, dura), and as a barrier preventing tissue attachment. Following surgery, body cavity surfaces are at risk of unwanted tissue attachment (scar-related defect). Generally, ~50% of surgeries develop these defects ie tissue attachment wherein, adjacent tissues adhere to one another. Sintact Film acts as tissue separating these internal surfaces minimizing tissue attachment and complications.
