Company Summary
SiNode anodes offer 10X higher capacity and a 10X decrease in charging time compared with current anode technology. As mobile processing power has continued to increase in accordance with Moore’s law, improvements in battery technology have failed to keep pace. Samir most recently served as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. At OPIC, Samir helped coordinate agency efforts in providing financing for renewable energy projects in emerging markets. He joined OPIC after serving as the National Security Director of the Presidential Personnel Office at the White House. Prior to his time at the White House, Samir served as a management consultant with Marakon Associates.

Cary HaynerChief Technology Officer
I’m in my final year as a chemical engineering PhD candidate at Northwestern University. At Northwestern, I have established expertise in the research and development of Li-ion battery technologies, including development of flexible, high-energy composite materials. Specifically, I have utilized graphene materials to develop a variety of anode and cathode composites for improved capacity and cycleability.
