Company Summary

Simware Solutions is introducing a totally new, fresh and disruptive approach to the problem of how to develop, integrate and interoperate any kind of simulators. Simware Solutions is disrupting the Simulation & Training (S&T) market with our own technology, Simware (www.simware.es), that it is introducing the use of open platforms and the internet of simulations to this market.
Simware Solutions is a technological spin-off of NADS (Nextel Aerospace, Defence & Security, S.L.). The new company has all assets developed and matured in NADS for the simulation & Training markets since 2003. Even when Simware solutions as a venture is quite new, Simware IP is a much matured set of technologies and products, TRL 9, now in his 6th generation (see details in http://www.simware.es/what-is-new-in-simware-2015.html), and in which NADS has invested more than €5 million since 2003. Our portfolio of products has been already validated by customers in three continents: Europe, USA and Asia.
Simware Solutions is targeting the Simulation & Training (S&T) market. Traditional applications have been in Military & Aerospace markets, but since recent years many others niches are expanding for simulation & training, mainly in transportation, energy and medicine. Global size of the market on this moment is more than $15 billion, growing in every segment, military and civil applications, with CAGR higher than 10% in emerging market segments as medical S&T
Simware is looking to unleash the real growth’s potential of the market with the introduction of open platforms to the simulation applications. Since the end of last century, platforms are everywhere; platforms are essential to create complex products and solutions in many different industries, such as computers, telecommunications (telecom), electronics appliances, automotive or military & aerospace. IT industry has helped to extend the knowledge about them and their advantages to the people. Platforms are expanding into many markets and can be found today in a variety of industries and on different scales: from near universal platforms as Internet, credit cards and the telephone to newer Internet-based enabled platforms such us Google’s Android, Apple’s IOS, Skype, Facebook, Paypal, etc.
Into the simulation community, there have been several attempts to create an open platform in order to facilitate interoperability and connectivity of assets from different users and business partners, but no one has been successful till now. Only Simware has started to demonstrate its traction as an open platform with the lead users of the S&T market: USA and NATO departments of Defense. Since our first commercial release in 2012, our total number of users has grown to more than 40, distributed in 15 countries located in three different continents.
