Company Summary

SimPrints enables faster and more accurate patient identification in resource-poor contexts by coupling biometrics to mobile phone technology. In many developing countries identifying patients with is a major challenge when patient records are paper-based, difficult to transport, and few people have formal ID. We're building a protoype technology than can use fingerprints as a unique IDs that sync with community health workers' mobile phones.

  • Reg Orton
    Hardware lead

    Reg is a product engingeer with over 10 years' experience managing medical device and tech product development efforts. He is the current CTO of BRCK and is based full-time in Nairobi, where he is leading SimPrints hardware design efforts

  • Toby Norman
    Marketing lead

    Toby is a PhD in Management Science at Cambridge studying health systems in developing countries. He has over six years of experience with community health workers in Bangladesh, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic

  • Tristram Norman
    Software lead

    Tristram is a MsC in business technology and avid android programmer. He's coordinating a team of volunteer programmers to develop the SimPrints API

  • Elizabeth Dzeng
    Medical lead

    Liz is a board-certified physician and fellow at John Hopkins. She holds an MPhil in Development, MPH, and is pursuing a PhD in Public Health at Cambridge. Liz is running the academic and global health partnerships for SimPrints
