A background in environmental science and genetics didn’t prepare Keri for a startup in romance. Watching reading disappear from her life due to the demands of a mother-of-three’s hectic schedule did. She founded SilkWords with her husband to provide a fun, interactive, and emotionally satisfying entertainment option that doesn’t require a huge time commitment from readers.

With a Romance Writers of America (RWA) RITA Award final, two RWA Golden Heart Award finals, and three sci-fi romance novels (Tor/Macmillan), Sharon's expertise has ensured that SilkWords offers a high quality, diverse collection of stories.

We know, he’s a guy. And yeah, he founded Xbox Live and was the director of development for Microsoft's Xbox One. We don’t let him pick the stories. But he’s worked in the video game industry for fifteen years, and it turns out he’s pretty handy with code. He and Keri developed the idea for SilkWords together, and Boyd’s the brawn behind the beauty of SilkWords’ upscale reading environment.
