Company Summary

Shamba Technologies is a British renewable energy company which has been operating in Tanzania since late 2009. Through our Tz subsidiary we have been developing innovative renewable energy products for the East African market. Our initial focus was on biogas and we worked with a Dutch company to redesign and install low-cost plastic biodigesters. We have recently completed the R&D on a new solar grid product which we will be launching in Q1 2013

Currently I'm in the process of developing a number of clean energy businesses in Tanzania, including two biodigester products and a solar lighting product. I am doing this through a social enterprise called Shamba Technologies.

My background and main interests are in renewable energy and international development, though I also have some experience in mechanical building services.
