Founding member of SFTec and responsible for innovation in the team in addition to being passionate about promoting Cleantech activities. Juha is a constant source of inspiration with extensive experience in process and project management.
Juha has previously worked in the metal industry with technologies related to the use of industrial by-products taking into account the important issue of environmental aspects.

Entrepreneurship-minded young professional in industrial engineering and management. My main strengths are design and management in the areas of cleantech and digitalization. My passion is to grow as a leader and create new products and sustainable business.

Jani is a founding member of SFTec and the acting Managing Director.
Jani has over 10 years of experience from leadership positions in the international foundry industry including managing a foundry.
Jani has an M.Sc. degree in Process Engineering from the University of Oulu 2003.

Mikko is one of the founding members of SFTec and is responsible for the company's strategy. He has a strong background in international leadership and entrepreneurship, having worked with innovative start-up companies since 2007. He brings to the team broad technology know-how, having worked for over 20 years in research and development in the ICT sector, including as the Director of Technology at TeliaSonerassa.

Matti's role in SFTec is focused on the planning and implementing on tests and computational analysis. Matti also brings to the team extensive knowledge of industrial processes.
In his research work at the University of Oulu Matti has developed several ideas all the way to products. He is used to doing research work in close co-operation with industrial partners.
Matti has a Ph.D. degree in Process Engineering from the University of Oulu (2011).

Hannu brings to the dynamic SFTec team his knowledge in bio-energy, metallurgical processes and computational analysis.
Hannu has extensive experience from working in the paper, mining and metal industries. His career has prepared Hannu for the task of planning and managing of large-scale development projects.

Hannu has a Ph.D. (2015) from the University of Oulu.

Over 10 years of experience of R&D projects in the industry and university from laboratory to industrial scale. Versatile expert in process engineering. Virpi manages our project portfolio and plans new development projects. M.Sc. degree in Process Engineering from the University of Oulu 2004.
