He was the founder of Thermoscan Inc. and 2 other companies. He was CTO of Kaz, Inc. Author of 80 papers and two books, including “Handbook of Modern Sensors”.

In April 2005, DexCom completed a successful IPO, valuing the company at up to $600 million.
