Mr. Riley has over 20 years of medical device experience, has held positions of increasing responsibility with Biomet Inc. and served as the Vice President of Sales for ACell. In a pre-IPO setting, he oversaw 150 employees with 20 direct reports. His skillsets include strategic planning, channel design and distribution, identifying virgin markets, operational and organizational management, economic modelling/reimbursement, and P&L experience.

Has over 15 years of medical device experience in software system design and development, architecture and management of engineering teams at major companies such as GE Healthcare and Immucor. Expertise includes; embedded software, connectivity/interoperability systems, architecture, building long term product roadmaps that influence investment decisions, build and motivate highly-capable teams that execute with speed and predictability. 

Has 17 years experience developing and leading development of medical device software in highly regulated industry, 13 years leading a Software Engineering team as manager, 12 years leading various software development teams as Project Lead, 7+ years working with and coordinating activities of cross functional, cross-cultural, and remote team members, 2 years work writing & executing test plans/protocols, quality analysis, software procedures.

Has over 13 years experience in Computer/Software engineering specializing in design, testing, maintenance, installation and/or programming for an advanced IT integrated infrastructure using heavy automation. VMware Certified Professional in Data Center Professional, Cloud Management & Automation and an Amazon Web Services Certified Solution Architect.

Has machine learning and deep neural network experience with the CU/CSU joint supercomputer and GPUs. Academic focus included machine learning projects and he has a number of peer-reviewed publications.
