A veteran in the EMS industry, Dr. Kanowitz spent a combined 35 yrs. in clinical settings as an EMT & Paramedic before becoming an emergency department Physician for Lutheran Medical Center. Following his career in clinical practice, Dr. Kanowitz has maintained an active role in the EMS world, serving as the EMS Medical Director for Pridemark for six years before accepting a position as the EMS & Trauma Services Medical Director for Colorado.

Backed by a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Applied Business Management from Colorado State University Global, Elyse has successfully led the company from concept to market ready in less than 3 years. Milestones achieved to date include product and manufacturing development and validation, acquisition of $2.5M private capital, patent issuance, clinical trial development, IDE approval & 510(k) submission.
