I have a lease adjacent to an existing oil field. There were 5 off-sets drilled next to this field and these wells did between 12-30 BOPD. My lease has 5 more off-set locations available. Everything is done at cost. Minimum investment is 1/16 working interest = $8,000 for drilling cost (completion cost will be billed later if necessary, additional $7,000).     I started off working for my dad in his oil field when I was in the 6th grade. I worked for him through school until I got my bachelors in geology. My brothers and I started our own oil production and service companies in 2005. Last year I sold out and started my own oil exoploration company. I have worked as a geologist in IL, IN, KY, OH, PA, and WV and have put together several of these types of deals. So far, I have 50% of this well sold.
