Patent pending Satellite Deskworks does all of this and was developed from our years of experience running multiple centers. As the industry grows to other space types (labs, studios, kitchens), SD is uniquely able to handle these, with auto-tracking of usage, comparison to plan, right through to auto-billing.

    Barbara previously co-founded a company that developed equipment to meet Clean Air Act needs. She built the business internationally, finally selling to a Fortune 1000 company. She and partners started a cowork center in 2009 and has 6 operating now. She.holds degrees in Economics and Public Policy.

    Barbara is passionately concerned about the changing workplace and its impact on families, communities, the environment, and bottom lines.

    Alex has over 16 years in software engineering with extensive experience in managing agile oriented teams, object oriented analysis, database design and business accounting and processes.

    Mario is a CPA with 8 years Big Four and 10 years extensive experience structuring companies from partnerships to multinational corporations, fund raising up to $500M, implementing accounting structures and evaluating exit strategies from M&As to spin-offs.

    Mario holds a BS in Business Administration and MS in Taxation. He is a Chartered Global Management Accountant from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

    Cat Johnson is a writer and content strategist for the workspace industry and storyteller for the coworking movement. She works with coworking space operators, regional alliances, industry service providers, event producers, and community-focused organizations to create targeted, impactful content. Cat also teaches workshops on content marketing, moderates panels about the workspace industry and speaks about coworking, community and purpose.

  • Corporate Counsel and Board Member

    With 45 years of legal experience, John is well known and respected in the Silicon Valley legal community. He specializes in real estate law and litigation and commercial enterprise formation, purchase/sale, and dissolution. John has been an adjunct professor at Santa Clara University School of Law since 2009. He served as board member, officer, and president of the Santa Clara County Bar Association in the early 1980’s.
