Company Summary

Sal Mar Azteca is a jv between I-DEV & a co-op of 120 indigenous salt farmers who harvest an extremely high quality, mineral-rich, organic sea salt from natural lagunas on Mexico’s Pacific Coast using the same artisenal harvest techniques as their Aztec ancestors. SalMarAzteca sells its salt, which lab analysis has shown is among the world’s highest quality mineral salts, as high-end cooking salts & as a variety of luxury bath salt products.

He is also the elected president of Sal Mar Azteca. Juan has over 40 years of experience in artisenal sea salt production and has been president of the cooperative for the past 3 terms, which illustrates the respect that the other members hold for him.
