Safe Slices was developed by a Speech Language Pathologist who spent her career caring for Individuals with varying degrees of intellectual and developmental disabilities who presented at a high risk for choking and aspiration while eating. Safety First Food Cutters are designed to meet the standards for food preparation set by New York State and to promote safe eating in all settings, especially clinical.
