He founded or acquired four start-ups, in both drug development and diagnostics, which have all had successful exits. All companies were based on the model of outsourced R&D, as is the case with Safeguard Biosystems.

Co-founder, Director. Is an experienced Canadian entrepreneur with broad-based skills in information technology, business development and executive management including taking a company public. Richard Strafehl has progressed through major corporations including Xerox, NCR Canada and AT&T. He also has a history of developing high-tech start-ups, four of which have become public.

CFO, Director. With 17 years experience in corporate and International banking in the City of London primarily with Charterhouse Bank, Howard Sherman has acted as a financial consultant to businesses in a variety of sectors, including start-ups. He was a key player in the establishment of Safeguard Biosystems as a U.K. company and previous funding rounds.
