    Saadia Khan is an immigrant, rights activist & social entrepreneur. She holds an MBA in marketing and a Master's in Human Rights from Columbia University. She has worked with UN Women and other UN entities at a small civil society organization focused on women's rights. She has worked as a freelancer for Human Rights First. Previously, she was a board member of Hearts & Homes for Refugees, a community-based organization helping refugees.

    Associate Producer

    Shei Yu is a queer Taiwanese American audio producer and community organizer. They graduated with honors and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Pomona College. She has worked for non-profit organizations, including the LA Review of Books and ONE Archives Foundation. Her work is driven by an intention to bridge communities, share untold stories, and mediate conflict and miscommunication.

    Michaela Strauther was born in Michigan but grew up in the South, which is where she calls home. As a lover of writing and storytelling, she aims to spotlight the diverse pool of minority experiences in both fiction and nonfiction narratives. Writing has always been a passion of hers, so she is excited to share her words with all of you!

    Sara Emilia Baig, a Hispanic-Asian Muslim, is a social media specialist with four years of experience enhancing online presence for progressive causes. Holding an M.A. in Human Rights from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Sara has contributed her skills to organizations such as MPower Change, Incorrigibles, and The Nation. She teaches social entrepreneurship at her alma mater while maintaining her commitment to creating educational content

  • Sound Designer and Editor

    Haziq Ahmad Farid is a New York University and Berklee College of Music graduate with a concentration in Audio Engineering. He is passionate about stories as he believes that stories have the ability to connect people in a world that can oftentimes feel very isolating.
