Company Summary
S-Biomedic has developed a method to change the human skin microbiome. We use our method to develop advanced cosmetics for acne recovery. Further development of applications includes skin aging, skin health and beauty, or validation into medical therapy of skin disorders such as eczema and rosacea.
Acne is one of the most common skin conditions affecting 85% of people at some point in their life. At the same time there is no satisfactory treatment in the market. Current acne products are either ineffective or they cause side effects ranging from skin irritation to birth defects.
Using advanced microbiome isolation we select natural skin bacteria and mix them into a multi-strain cosmetic formulation. The formulation of live bacteria displace pathogenic bacteria causing acne directly on the skin, naturally reestablish an equilibrated microbiome, and prevent relapse of acne.
