Ruvna allows schools to locate and account for their students in real-time during emergencies. When there is an emergency in a school, accounting for each student is a crucial task. With Ruvna, every teacher easily and quickly identifies the students they have. Ruvna automatically figures out which students have not been checked-in and alerts administration. In real-time, both administrators and law enforcement/emergency personnel can see where every student is, and which students are potentially in danger. Ruvna operates with a SaaS model and looks to target the more than 130k K-12 schools in the US.

    Joey wrote the first version of ruvna with Jack Ruppel at the age of 16 in order to address his school’s need for an exceptional discipline module. Joey’s strong programming background and proactive attitude makes him
    not only the driving force of product development, but a hands on leader throughout the company. Joey focuses now on bringing ruvna’s vision to the masses along with keeping ruvna’s technology cutting-edge.

    CFO

    Marshall Singer’s expertise in business and “big-picture” thinking makes him the perfect fit for managing the finances of ruvna. His focus within the company centers on making sure there is a financial reality to support
    the team’s visions, and working with investors to secure funding necessary to bring ruvna to schools that need it.

  • Jack Ruppel
    CTO

    Jack is the so-called “head nerd” at ruvna. He wrote the original version of ruvna with our CEO Joey Nutinsky while he was still in high school. Since then Jack has focused developing and programming solutions to new problems for ruvna to solve. Jack’s black-belt also qualifies him to be ruvna’s official security force.
