Company Summary

Currently, there is no way for first-responder departments to effectively communicate with each other, leading to a sever lack of interoperability between them. In addition, the communication software that is available is capital intensive and often too cost prohibitive for public sector purchases. Rubik utilizes the latest cloud based technology to overcome both of these issues, providing affordable interoperability to emergency services.

Team

  • Matt MacKenzie

    Matt has significant experience working with top-tier global companies, both public and private, and specializes in strategic management. Prior to joining Rubik's management team, Matt completed a concurrent MBA/JD(LLB) program at the University of Victoria.

  • Justin Long

    Justin joins Rubik with more than 8 years experience in digital marketing and development. He studied business and health sciences at Simon Fraser University and has prior experience in the health care industry and public relations.

  • Stephen Gable

    Stephen graduated with degrees in Finance and French Commerce from the University of Western Ontario. After working in a large Canadian financial institution, he returned to school at UBC's Sauder School of Business to complete his diploma in accounting and wrote the UFE in 2011. Stephen provides strong finance, accounting, and business strategy experience, specializing in large private companies.

    Mike combines his backgrounds of client relations and managerial experience with his Honors BA in Criminology to help guide Rubik's growth.
