Rubbintec is commercializing a patented "devulcanization" technology that regenerates quality rubber from waste tires that can be used as a substitute for virgin rubber & TPE for dozens of different rubber products such as footwear, automotive parts, appliance parts, liners, flooring, mats and even new tires. It can also be used as an asphalt modifier for roads and roofing materials. The company built a 7,000 ton pilot plant for $2,500,000.
