Company Summary
RTI's patented utility scale ocean wave energy converter is 4 times lighter and lower cost than other wave energy converters and 2 times lighter than offshore wind turbines using the higher energy density of deep water ocean waves to produce power below the cost of solar and wind. It does this by using elongated surface float elements which are submerged below wave troughs during severe sea conditions by a seawater ballasted stabilizing frame.
