    He was the Prime Minister of Somalia from October 8, 2000 - October 28, 2001. He has extensive experience in public policy, diplomacy, public administration and business. He taught these subjects at Syracuse University & the University of Minnesota. He has also served as Executive Officer of the $400MM, Juba Sugar Project, a Somali national sugar producer.
