Rooms2night is a hotel booking app that specializes in offering small local independent hotels and hostels all over Latin America that international travelers can't find through traditional OTAs such as booking.com.
It will help feel international tourists feel more secure because they can pre book local hotels and at the same time will drive more tourism to local places instead of international chain hotels.

Now I want to take it to a new level and turn it into a social media trip planner for millennials so that room bookings, while still being the main revenue stream, actually move to the background.

Rooms2night is a hotel booking application for independent and local hotels all over Latin America. Our goal is to make it easier for international tourists to pre book local hotels of all catgories which are underrepresented by big OTAs such as Expedia or Hoteltonight. The goal of Rooms2night is not only to enter the market fast and launch in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala and Peru in October 2015, but also to build a world-class offering over time to become and remain the first name in mobile hotel bookings in Latin America. Our next step is to penetrate the market in Brazil to be able to offer hotels all over Brazil by the Olympic Games in 2016.

    After working for international hotel chains in revenue management, Anemone had the idea to take advantage of the recent hotel over supply in Latin America which is predicted to outpace demand until 2022. Hotels try to sell their rooms last minute at a discount and this is why she created this App from scratch. Anemone studied hospitality management in Switzerland at the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, speaks German, French, Spanish and English

    Cindy graduated from Middlebury College, one of the top ten liberal arts schools in the U.S, with Bachelors in Spanish and Italian. She speaks English, Spanish and Italian fluently, and is of Ecuadorian descent. After studying abroad in Latin America and Europe, and traveling internationally at least twice a year throughout her life, Cindy has gained a lot of knowledge of the hotel industry and of what travelers are looking for worldwide.
