Rockhound Boring Products, LLC's mission is to design and manufacture boring products enabling utility construction contractors to become more environmentally friendly, productive and cost effective. Our products will allow smaller contractors to bid on additional jobs and developers to build on previously cost prohibitive sites.     Douglas R. Ford loves to work with his hands. After graduating from Fox H. S. in Arnold MO in 1978 he worked for 5 years as a machinist, 7 years as a construction supervisor for a cable company, 5 years as owner of Meramac Valley Communications and 13 years as a millright at Chrysler. After the plant closed he formed Douglas R. Ford, LLC and began developing his revolutionary underground boring bit. Patents were filed in 2009 and granted in 2011.
