The world's largest floating object weighs 600,000 tonnes. Situated in a body of water with a high tide, it would be lifted and set down twice a day. An exceptionally large height is up to 14 meters relative to the sea floor. The mechanical energy of this event is 82320 megawatts four times a day (compared with a 500 megawatt coal power plant). This can not be collected with 100% efficiency, but I've an idea to collect a lot of regardless.
