Company Summary

We are a medical device company, commercializing our exclusive Raman spectroscopy system for real-time detection of tissue abnormalities through the development and manufacture of products for a range of clinical settings. We are presently seeking regulatory approval of our intraoperative probe system for infiltrative brain cancer detection. Building on our unique data acquisition platform, we aim to become the leader in real-time diagnostics.

  • President & CEO

    Chris has expertise in cancer biology and management of start-ups. With Dr. Kevin Petrecca, he built a translational research program at the Montreal Neurological Institute working with industry partners on pre-clinical development for brain cancers. He was also Director of Business Development/IP strategy at a start-up specializing in smart polymer materials. He did due-diligence, developed the business model, and managed the patent portfolio.

  • Chief Medical Officer

    Dr. Kevin Petrecca is the Chief of Neurosurgery and the head of the Brain Cancer research group at the Montreal Neurological Institute. A leading expert in glioblastoma, he has published 30 peer-reviewed articles, and presented his research internationally. Also he holds 2 patents related to the use of antisense oligonucleotide mediated knockdown of proteins in preventing glioma cancer cell invasion.

  • Chief Technology Officer

    Dr. Leblond is an associate professor at the Department of Engineering Physics at Polytechnique Montreal where he heads the Optical Radiology Laboratory (LRO). He is also adjunct professor at Dartmouth College, and a researcher at the Centre for Research Hospital of the University of Montreal (CHUM Research Centre).
