Rescufy was conceived by David Edwards and his wife Rachel to help their young son who is allergic to tree nuts.

Rescufy won the University of Pennsylvania’s 2013 AppitUP competition.

    David holds an MBA from Baylor University and is a member of Penn Medicine’s Office Dev and Alumni Relations. He has many years of internet marketing, development and fundraising experience. Dave has a unique group of strengths in new media, relationship management, and health care. Dave looks forward to utilizing his skills to battle anaphylaxis and other emergent, life threatening situations for those affected as well as their caregivers.
