There are 33 million horseshoes produced each year by Mustad group only. This equals to 13 000 tones of metal which has unlimited recycling possibilities. It is critical to optimize the recycling time since scrap is only 40% in steel and aluminium products. Recycling is a responsible and true sustainable model that saves resources. We want to organize a collection system of old horseshoes, return them to foundries for recycling, and make profit.
