CEO & Co-Founder
Felipe's family have been working for 60+ years with large-scale organic citrus farming in Brazil, and that have made him always passionate about sustainable agriculture. With a Bc in Production Engineer in Brazil & Sustainable Agriculture in Netherlands, Felipe decided to take his learnings to the field. After visiting the Amazon Rainforest and seeing how agriculture is causing deforestation, he decided to start reNature with Marco de Boer.

Leandro took the Major in Agrarian, Food and Environmental Studies, because it connected both of his backgrounds, combining political sciences with the natural resources’ management. Experiences in operational, commercial, and business development fields to project management.

Passionate about finding context-specific solutions for climate change mitigation and adaptation, whilst integrating socioeconomic aspects. Focus lies on agroforestry and regenerative agriculture. I see myself as a systems thinker taking the complexity of todays sustainability issues into great account. Shedding light on potential repercussions of actions and relationships within systems is a priority and helps me to identify the best solutions.

Eva has over 10 years experience in impact investment having worked for Oikocredit International, the Common Fund for Commodities and most recently as lead for Rabo Foundation’s African portfolio.
Eva is now sharpening her focus to environmental impact having seen first hand agro-forestry projects visited in Brazil in 2018. She’s convinced that we can make regenerative agricultural practices mainstream amongst practicioners and investors.

My interest goes out to how sustainable land management and sustainable agriculture can contribute to restoration of the environment.
I am interested and trained in both the technical as well as the social aspects of sustainable land management and sustainable agriculture, which is reflected through my interdisciplinary education.
Waas has a background in International Water & Land Management which he obtained at the University of Wageningen.
