We can double the AEP of current HAWT technologies by regulating the power of the rotor in real time for the first time ever, allowing much larger rotors.
We shall develop a 15KW residential turbine capable of >80,000 KWH per year to demonstrate the technology and attract Big Wind companies to license the technology. A low license fee of $100K per MW allows creation of turbines with more than twice the annual energy production bringing cost down to less than 3.5 cents per KWH. 2017 installations totaled 52,000 MW equivalent to $5.2B in license fees.
We may need to develop a 2 MW unit to license.
