Company Summary

Redtree Robotics is making it easier, faster and more affordable to build mobile robots. We sell and support an off-the-shelf computer, communications, and component integration platform for enterprise mobile robotics. While sensors, actuators, and algorithms can purchased off-the-shelf, there is no easy method to connect all of these components together in a standardized way, suitable for mobile applications.

Team

  • Jason is a PhD candidate with a background in Wireless Communications and over 25 published papers. He also has experience on industry research projects with Schlumberger, Vehicle Traffic Simulation, and Cognitive Agents. He also worked in industry for a year as a web developer.

  • Tom is a PhD candidate in system engineering. His background is in robotics, and low level hardware design. He has industry experience integrating sensors while doing engineering work with waste water systems. He was also involved in sensor integration on a terrestrial Mars rover prototype. Both of these roles allowed Tom to experience first hand, some of the problems our platform aims to solve.
