Company Summary

We provide a platform where everyone can create music with others online, in real time. Anybody who has ever played an instrument (or wanted to) can create a song with our simple tools. We make music fun for beginners, powerful for experienced artists, and require no investment in expensive equipment - just a laptop or mobile device with a web browser.

Serious musicians can earn income by collaborating on projects with others and have a podium for self promotion. Casual musicians get a community to meet others and collaborate using a cloud-based “canvas”, which acts as a sketch pad for their ideas. We are a single, central location that brings together all your musical ideas, projects, and friends. Youtube empowered the casual video producer and we’re bringing the same idea to music production.

    In addition to his music production work as co-owner of "The Zoo Studios" in St. Paul, Mike has spent the last decade leading complex software engineering teams at fast-growing web startups.  He has developed a consistent methodology for managing cross-functional Agile development teams to deliver great products under tight deadlines in both private and open source environments.

    Scott is highly adept at driving product vision to market acceptance, having served as Product Manager of human-capital marketplace Field Nation over the last 4 years as it has grown from $26MM to $120MM+. Scott is also co-owner of “The Zoo Studios”, and brings to RecordTogether a deep understanding of how cloud-based platforms work to solve real-world problems for budding musicians.
