Company Summary

Qwantum is a Microsoft BizSpark Plus software technology start-up company established to develop its flagship product dayjahvoo. With rapidly growing use of video in social media and marketing, the dayjahvoo presentation module was completed first and packaged as epik video, an online browser for creating and emailing thousands of personalised HD videos at costs comparable to standard emailing. Epik is now in pilot launch and gaining traction.

    Basil has 25 years’ experience with software technology start-ups. He was a co-founder of the Netstar stolen vehicle tracking and recovery system in South Africa. Post launch he held the position GM for Sales and Marketing. Basil then moved on to start up the Geotab Fleet Management System (also in SA), providing guidance in the development of the product to meet market requirements. He held the position of Managing Director.

    John has extensive IT experience having worked in various enterprise level businesses in the UK, such as Telewest (Telecommunications) and Credit Suisse (Investment Banking) as well as doing consulting for smaller not for profit organisations such as Advisory Committee On Protection of the Sea. In addition, John founded and sold an online travel company and consulted on business solutions for property development and travel companies in Cyprus
