    Dr. Alfonso Ortega is Professor of Energy Technology and Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research at Villanova University. Ortega earned an MS and PhD at Stanford Univ.
    Ortega, in collaboration with 4 other universities and 4 area corporate partners, has been chosen as the joint recipient of a five-year, $3.4 million dollar NSF grant to establish an Industry/University Cooperative Research Center in Energy-Efficient Electronic Systems.

    Steven Schon is co-founder and CTO of QuantaCool Corporation, and inventor of QuantaCool’s patent-pending cooling technology. Mr. Schon brings extensive experience in research, development, scale-up, and process and product improvement.
    Mr. Schon is an accomplished chemical engineer, with degrees from Columbia and Drexel University. He is a recipient of R&D Magazine’s prestigious “R&D 100” award, holds 11 patents and has several publications.
