QMI Robotics has secured multiple enabling patents that could make industrial and humanoid robots capable of near, and possibly exceeding, human abilities in manipulation and mobility. QMI robotics is built around the precision control of hydraulics, but this is no ordinary hydraulic robot. The cost of the QMI robots are expected to be 25-40 % of the cost of traditional robots.
