As Vice President of Operations at VirtualScopics, Edward managed early-stage core lab development and growth from less than $100K to initial profitability and multi-million dollar revenues. Edward holds a degree in Computer Science from MIT.

    Dr. Totterman has over 30 years of experience as a clinical radiologist and scientist with particular expertise in MRI and CT. For over 10 years, she has worked with Dr. Tamez-Peña to develop software-based analysis technologies for use in clinical research. Dr. Totterman is responsible for medical science and therapeutic applicability of Qmetrics technology.

    Dr. Tamez-Peña has over 20 years of image analysis and computer vision experience and is a leading authority on quantitative analysis of MR image data. Dr. Tamez-Peña is responsible for imaging science, research and algorithm development.
    Drs. Totterman and Tamez-Peña are the inventors of several patented medical imaging analysis methods as well as authors of numerous publications. Drs. Totterman and Tamez-Peña are co-founders of VirtualScopics.

    COO

    Patricia oversaw the commercial application of VirtualScopics' technology in image processing for clinical trials as well as the transformation of the company into a regulatory-compliant clinical services provider. Patricia holds an MBA from the University of Rochester's Simon School of Business.
